Using the ChatGPT feature Summarize, you can provide the users a summary of the entire topic.
Prerequisites and technical notes
In order to use this feature, you will need to have installed the ChatGPT build of Social Squared, which is included in the download package from our website Download Center. A ChatGPT key or a ChatGPT Power Automate URL must be supplied to Social Squared in the Settings panel.
Only forum moderators, site admins, and site owners can see the “Generate Topic Summarization (ChatGPT)” option. General forum participants cannot generate a topic summary.
This feature sends text from the topic posts to an OpenAI service, for which you must have an account with an available credit balance, and an API key. Each request/response is limited to approximately 3000 words. If the request contains more words than that, Social Squared will remove HTML tags and possibly truncate the text, in order to allow room within the 3000-word limit for a response (which then may be fairly short).
Instructions
To use this feature select Summarize in the dropdown of the topic.
Then Select Ask ChatGPT.
If you do not like the answer, you can clear it by selecting Clear Answer. If you select Ask ChatGPT, You will be provided with a revised answer.
Once you are satisfied with the answer, you can select Set Topic Summarization to apply the summary to your topic.
This topic summary will be at the top of the topic thread and will include the date generated. You may wish to update it as the thread receives more posts.
Also, the summary will appear if you hover over the Topic in Social Squared.
